What's cooking?

When I turned 19 somewhere in the 1980s, my mum gave me the Commonsense Cookery Book, an earthenware casserole dish, a bottle of dried basil leaves and a Wiltshire Staysharp knife. That night, I made some sort of tuna mornay basil configuration which tasted rather appalling but I wasn't discouraged.

Today, my recipe books come from Bill Granger, Philip Johnson, delicious. and Weight Watchers. My favourite flavours for the moment are anything Japanese and the fun and diversity of Mexico.

I love to entertain at home. Friends and family ask for my recipes, so to save everyone time and money, here they are, accredited where appropriate and full of all my adjustments.
